Technostress
Dieser Forschungsschwerpunkt des Lehrstuhls setzt sich mit negativen Emotionen, der Abhängigkeit und dem Stress in digitalen Arbeits- und Lebenswelten auseinander. Hierzu werden Treiber und Konsequenzen von Techno-Stress untersucht und insbesondere aufgezeigt, welche Rolle digitale Technologien für das generelle Stressempfinden im Arbeitsalltag, im Studium oder auch im Privaten spielen.
Mit Bezug auf Techno-Stress im Unternehmen stehen folgende Fragen im Mittelpunkt der Forschung des Lehrstuhls:
- Welche IT-bedingten Stressoren verursachen Stress und was sind deren Konsequenzen?
- In welchem Bezug stehen IT-bedingte Stressoren zu generellen arbeitsbezogenen Stressoren?
- Welchen Einfluss hat die Einführung von neuen digitalen Technologien auf das Stressempfinden?
- Mit Hilfe welcher Methoden kann das Stressempfinden reduziert werden?
Ein weiterer Fokus der Arbeiten des Lehrstuhls liegt zudem auf Stress, der durch die Nutzung von digitalen Technologien im Privaten (z.B. Facebook, Whatsapp, Smartphones) entsteht und wie dieser mit der Abhängigkeit von diesen Technologien zusammenhängt.
