In this thesis students should analyze digital work systems. These work systems can either be changed because of a new digital technology being implemented or suffer from some challenges such that a recommendation on how to improve the design of the work system is required. In this thesis students should conducted interviews with participants of these work systems and use work system theory to analyze them. This thesis should be written with partners from industry. Students can also develop a teaching case that can be used to teach these lessons learnt to students and managers. In this thesis students should analyze benefits and challenges of telework (home-office). This can be done by conducting case studies and interviews with organizations offering telework to their employees, with individuals using the opportunity to work from home or with individuals who are concerned about others doing telework. The master thesis can also consist of literature analysis of case studies reported in the literature to summarize the major lessons learnt from past research in this area. Another opportunity is to develop guidelines what organizations and individuals need to consider when offering the opportunity to telework or when working from remote. In this thesis students should analyze Enterprise Social Networking or the use of Enterprise Social Media in organization. This can be done by conducting case studies and interviews with organizations offering ESN or with employees using ESN at their work. Since May 2018, the DSGVO has been fully applied and companies have had to adapt their business models and processes with regard to data protection requirements. Wenn neue Informationstechnologien entwickelt werden, gilt es für Unternehmen, darüber zu entscheiden, ob diese in die betrieblichen Abläufe integriert werden sollen oder nicht. Eines der vielen Kriterien hierfür ist u.a. die Akzeptanz, die diese neue Technologie bei den Mitarbeitern genießt, welche sie am Ende des Tages täglich nutzen sollen. Das Ziel der Arbeit ist es, herauszufinden, welche Faktoren bei der Integration von Künstlicher Intelligenz (KI) in industrielle Produktionsprozesse hinsichtlich ihrer Akzeptanz eine Rolle spielen. Dies soll durch explorative Experteninterviews mit verschiedenen Berufsgruppen im produktionsnahen Umfeld geschehen. Die Masterarbeit kann in Englisch oder Deutsch verfasst werden. Internet and technology based recruiting is already a common approach in human resource management (HRM) and e-recruiting has significantly spread in recent years. From an organizations point of view there are numerous advantages, e.g. increased speed of application handling. But what do candidates think of automated recruiting and the use of AI? The subject of this thesis is to analyze how job seekers assess automated recruiting and the use of AI in the recruiting process. Das OZG (Onlinezugangsgesetz) verpflichtet Behörden bis Ende 2022 alle Leistungen online zur Verfügung zu stellen. Die betroffenen Behörden auf Bundes-, Landes-, Kommunalebene setzen derzeit unterschiedliche Systeme und Techniken hierfür ein. Die Spannbreite reicht vom auszudruckenden PDF-Formular bis zur durchgängigen online-Bearbeitung. Anforderungen an die Lösungen ergeben sich aus den Kriterien Authentifizierung, Vertraulichkeit, Integrität der Daten, Schriftformerfordernis und zeitlicher Nachweis der Antragstellung.
In Kooperation mit der Stadt Erlangen soll ein Rahmenkonzept für die Umsetzung der Anforderungen des OZG erarbeitet werden. Dabei sind einheitliche Prozessschritte zu erheben und auf erforderlichen (Micro-)Services unter Berücksichtigung der bisherigen IT-Infrastruktur der Stadt Erlangen abzubilden. Der Einsatz vorhandener Lösungskomponente und noch zu erwartende Lösungen auf Bundes- und Landesebene sind zu erörtern. Auch sollte das Potenzial einer interkommunalen Zusammenarbeit auf Bundes-, Landes- und Kommunalebene erforscht und ggf. Strategien zur konkreten Umsetzung ermittelt werden.
